My contribution
I worked as a compositor on the launch video: marker removal, camera tracking and rotoscoping, blending the CG earbuds into the live-action shots and animating the on-screen text.
The roto was the heavy part, especially the dancer with loose hair against a bright background. One shot needed a camera track with very few markers to work from, so the solve took several passes before it held.
About the project
At MWC 2025, HMD launched the Amped Buds, the first earbuds that can wirelessly charge your phone.
