About Qiddiya
Qiddiya is a new entertainment, sports, and culture destination being developed near Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Envisioned as “The City of Play”, it is a place built around creativity, energy, and shared experiences.
Qiddiya City represents the destination’s master brand, combining bold design, fluid geometry, and a dynamic visual system inspired by the surrounding landscape.
Qiddiya Gaming, part of the same ecosystem, focuses on esports and digital entertainment, extending the brand’s playful identity into a high-energy, tech-driven visual world.
My contribution
Collaborating with the Brash creative team, I worked on motion R&D and early animation explorations for both Qiddiya City and Qiddiya Gaming.
The goal was to help define a motion direction for the new identity, testing behaviours, transitions, and visual rhythms that could express the brand’s energetic and playful essence.
These are work-in-progress tests and rough explorations developed to support the creative process and guide the evolution of the brand’s motion language.
I also produced on-screen animations for Qiddiya’s presence at WTM London 2024, extending the visual system into a real-world activation.
